I am currently listening to this song of Goo Goo dolls from the movie Transformers when I did this blog. So I reflect on how I use and enjoy music, what music I like most and my views on music piracy.

I can say that Music is a big part of entertainment, many of us, including me can say that we are musically-inclined in the sense that we enjoy listening to music and others use music as an influence to want they want in life. As an evidence of people liking music, I can site examples of how I or we use and enjoy music. Our earphones are always stuck on our ears, we have CDs at home, we have radios that are usually turned on the FM stations, our laptops and computers do have music player, we watch music channels almost everyday, we visit those websites that offers downloadable music and even if we don’t have gadgets to listen to those music we like and love, we can sing it all day long.

For me, I use music to soothe my mood, whatever emotions I have; music has a corresponding genre to that. Music is a part of my routine, from the moment I wake up at morning, on my way to school or to other places and until I close my eyes at night, it is the first and last thing that I do, listen to music. I enjoy almost all genre of music, I listened to music that depends on my mood, but I usually enjoy the type of music like the pop and rock. I enjoy pop because it is what you usually hear anywhere, and I really love the rock one, because I love its loudness, how the bands and singers sing there rock songs like it has no tomorrow, and they really express there emotions on that song. But I also listen to RnB, OPM, jazz and others.

Top get in touch with what is latest on the music, I enjoyed watching music oriented channels and I regularly visit those websites that offer free downloadable MP3 songs. I don’t usually buy those CDs because I always think that I can always download it for free on the internet. On the issue of piracy, I can say that this piracy really destroys the music industry. Before, I tried to buy those pirated CDs but it wasn’t really nice because at middle of the song they usually stop and the life span of those CDs is like a week or two. So, it is a really thanks to the internet that gives us a free downloads to those music we want.

All in all music nowadays is a part of the rotation and revolution of the world, it connects others in ways we don’t know, it has already invaded or merges with other media means, like you can see music details on magazines, newspapers and other print materials, music on television and there are what we call musical plays and musical movies. So we can really say that music is an international medium of communication.
